SEASONAL - Archive Coordinator

Unrivaled is a premier professional women’s 3v3 basketball league showcasing the top players in the sport. Our mission is to elevate the profile of women’s basketball through exceptional talent, groundbreaking partnerships, and unparalleled fan experiences.

Unrivaled is seeking a Seasonal Archive Coordinator for the  season. The engagement is expected to begin virtually early December, with onsite activities in Miami, Florida beginning on or around December 26, 2026, and continuing through approximately mid-March 2027, subject to completion of the agreed scope of services.

The Archive Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity, organization, and accessibility of Unrivaled’s digital media archive. This role supports the Content Operations Manager by ensuring content is properly archived, searchable, and readily available for production and other use.

Content Archive & Asset Management

• Own and maintain Unrivaled’s digital media archive across Shade and Greenfly, ensuring content is organized, searchable, and up to date.
• Ensure all photo and video content is uploaded daily, coordinating with content staff to facilitate and verify timely and complete uploads.
• Maintain archive organization by enforcing naming conventions, folder structures, metadata standards, and removing unnecessary duplicates or obsolete assets.
• Maintain production tracking documentation, including asset locations, project status, and a database linking original footage to published social content.

Metadata & Archive Operations

• Ensure facial recognition, automated metadata, and AI tagging are functioning accurately, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve asset discoverability.
• Monitor archive health, including upload queues, backups, storage integrity, and archive quality control.
• Support ongoing improvements to archive workflows, taxonomy, and digital asset management processes.

Content Distribution & Platform Management

• Assist internal teams with locating and distributing archived content for media sales, partnerships, marketing, game presentation, and other business needs.
• Act as an additional liaison with archive technology partners, troubleshooting issues and coordinating platform support.
• Support archive access, user best practices, and documentation to ensure efficient use of content management systems.

• 2+ years of experience in digital asset management, content operations, media production, or archive management (sports experience is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with digital asset management or cloud-based content platforms
• Familiarity with metadata, file organization, and content management best practices (experience with AI-powered metadata and tagging technologies is a plus)
• Self-motivated, solutions-orientated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
