The Otalio BA supports NCL’s migration from Fidelio to Otalio. The role owns the POS and Guest Services modules and contributes to related dining and digital initiatives. You’ll partner with Guest Services, Dining and Hotel Operations, Retail, QA, shipboard leadership, and the Otalio vendor team. This is a hands‑on delivery role with real visibility, both on the shoreside and on board the ships.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather and document requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for POS, Guest Services, and special projects.
  • Analyze impacts across dining, guest services, POS, and retail operations.
  • Build strong working relationships across NCL departments and help bring the right stakeholders into key decisions.
  • Track cross-team inputs (e.g., marketing assets, menu content, configuration data), dependencies, and risks, and keep partners aligned on timelines.
  • Create and prioritize enhancements, gaps, defects, and tasks in Jira, and collaborate with Otalio on priority items by raising OCSM tickets.
  • Maintain traceability across requirements, user stories, test cases, Jira tickets, and SOX evidence.
Product Delivery & Implementation:
  • Support implementation and enhancements for Otalio applications, including POS, Guest Services, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), View Only Menu, Dining Management, and view only menu solutions.
  • Join solution design discussions with Product, Development, QA, and Otalio.
  • Coordinate environment readiness, access management, and release planning.
Testing & UAT
  • Plan, run, and report on UAT and integration testing in Test Rail across multiple work streams.
  • Write test scenarios based on real shipboard workflows: dining, bars, retail, guest service management, and guest service requests.
  • Facilitate testing sessions with shipboard users and operational stakeholders.
  • Partner with Otalio and internal teams on defect resolution, and support SOX evidence collection.
  • Coordinate business signoffs and share testing progress with stakeholders.
Shipboard Deployments & Hypercare:
  • Support drydocks, new-build, repositioning, and crossing deployments and production releases.
  • Help coordinate go-live readiness across Product, IT, QA, Otalio, and ship operations.
  • Provide post-go-live support, triage priority issues, maintain RAID logs, and contribute to lessons learned.
Training & Adoption:
  • Develop and deliver role-based training for restaurant managers, dining crew, guest services managers, and retail staff.
  • Create department-specific training scripts and guides for Guest Services, Dining, & Retail POS.
  • Support change management, business readiness, and adoption of new workflows.
  • Prepare clear, well-reviewed documentation, meeting notes, and status briefs for company and NCL leadership.

Bring a problem-solving mindset, offering ideas and recommendations as the program evolves.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of BA, system implementation, or hospitality technology experience, including requirements gathering across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with UAT, defect management, Jira, Confluence and Test Rail.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and leading training or workshops for groups of 20+.
  • Comfortable learning new platforms and navigating a large organization.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives at once in a fast-paced environment.
