Digital Design & Research Specialist

Description

We are seeking a Digital Design & Research Specialist to help create intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging digital platforms. This role combines user research, customer insights, interaction design, and visual design to help organizations better understand their audiences and deliver exceptional digital products.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, data-driven, and passionate about solving complex business challenges through thoughtful design and research. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, marketing professionals, and business stakeholders to transform user needs into impactful digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, focus groups, and competitive analysis.

+ Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user behaviors, needs, pain points, and opportunities.

+ Create personas, customer journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

+ Design intuitive and visually compelling user experiences for websites, applications, and digital products.

+ Develop user interface concepts that align with brand standards and accessibility best practices.

+ Present research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.

+ Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.

+ Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and strategic planning initiatives.

+ Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout project life cycles.

+ Stay current on emerging design trends, technologies, and digital best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

+ Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

+ Strong understanding of UX, UI, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.

+ Ability to balance user needs with business objectives.

+ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

+ Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
