Position Overview

As our Family Law Attorney in Miami, you will manage a variety of family law matters and play a key role in establishing and developing the firm’s Family Law practice.

You will work closely with firm leadership to build workflows, refine processes, and deliver outstanding legal representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in a variety of family law proceedings, including:
  • Child custody
  • Child support
  • Modifications
  • Paternity
  • Domestic violence injunctions
  • Time sharing
  • Prepare and argue motions, conduct hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Develop case strategy and maintain strong client communication
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, financial affidavits, discovery responses, and settlement agreements
  • Oversee case progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with leadership to build systems, procedures, and best practices for the Family Law Division
  • Mentor and support paralegals and legal assistants
  • Stay informed on changes in Florida Family Law and court procedures
Qualifications & Experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Florida Family Law required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Spanish proficiency preferred, not required
