Our client, an AmLaw 200 law firm with a sophisticated private client practice, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates / Private Wealth Partner to join its growing team in Miami, Florida.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in estate planning, trust administration, tax planning, and wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held business owners.
ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on all aspects of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning.
Develop and implement sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies, including family limited partnerships, grantor trusts, charitable planning, and related structures.
Counsel fiduciaries and beneficiaries in trust and estate administration matters.
Collaborate with investment advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver holistic wealth planning solutions.
Manage and grow client relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and private businesses.
Contribute to firm growth by leveraging an existing book of business and participating in business development initiatives.
J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to practice in Florida required.
10+ years of experience in trusts & estates, tax, or private wealth law at a leading firm or boutique.
LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required.
Established client base or portable book of business strongly preferred.
Deep knowledge of estate, gift, and income tax laws as they relate to individuals, trusts, and estates.
Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and drafting skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to providing personalized, high-touch client service.
Fluent in Spanish is highly preferred.
