Appellate/Trial Support Associate Attorney – Miami, FL
The Miami, FL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full‑service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an Appellate/Trial Support Associate Attorney to join its Appellate Practice.
The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years of appellate experience, a working knowledge of state and federal civil appellate procedure, and excellent advocacy and writing skills. Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
- Responsibilities
- Evaluate trial records and identify appellate issues.
- Write effective appellate briefs that frame factual and legal issues under the appellate standard of review.
- Conduct in‑depth legal research support to the litigation team.
- Present oral argument before appellate courts.
- Qualifications
- 2–7 years of appellate litigation experience.
- Proficient in state and federal civil appellate procedure.
- Strong advocacy and persuasive writing skills.
- Admitted to the Florida Bar.
