Associate Attorney (Min. 3 Year Experience)

Due to rapid growth, The Belt Law Firm, PC is seeking Associate Attorneys to join our workers' compensation practice in Pittston and Hazleton, PA. We are looking for ambitious attorneys ready to engage with clients, and the court. We welcome candidates with a minimum of 3 year of Workers' Compensation experience and a valid Pennsylvania license. • Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, and independently develop and present litigation strategies on behalf of clients.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions (expert/fact), motions, and briefs.
• Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients on legal and factual issues.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and staff in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
• Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at depositions, administrative hearings, and mediations.

• J.D. and admission to the PA bar
• Minimum 3 year of experience in workers' compensation
• Litigation experience required (e.g., taking and defending depositions, preparation and filing of discovery and related motions, oral argument experience, etc.)
• Strong writing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong file management skills
• Excellent work ethic

The Belt Law Firm, PC offers a generous benefits package along with compensation based on experience.
