Associate - Bankruptcy

Overview

Gray Robinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an opening in our Miami or Orlando offices for a Bankruptcy Associate with 2-3 years’ experience. Judicial clerkship is a plus. The successful candidate must be admitted to the Florida Bar.

• Experience with Chapter 11 business bankruptcies, creditors’ rights litigation, assignments for the benefit of creditors, representing fiduciaries, as well as complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation (including avoidance actions).
• Ability to handle court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to successfully work on multiple projects with lawyers in different offices simultaneously and autonomously, with keen attention to detail.

• Admitted to the Florida Bar.
• 2-3 years’ experience in bankruptcy-related practice; judicial clerkship is a plus.
