Discover how you can grow with us at Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Miami, FL location who will support multiple attorneys and/or paralegals in our commercial litigation practice group.
Responsibilities- Filings, client management, billing, time entry, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, travel arrangements, and other legal assistant functions. We seek candidates who are self‑directed, high energy and have advanced computer skills.
- Solid work history including 3–5 recent years providing legal administrative support.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including attorneys, paralegals and other assistants throughout the firm.
- Intermediate to advanced‑level use of Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing software, and related legal software.
- Experience with E‑filing (federal and state).
- Experience using time‑keeping software and document management systems.
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with a keen ability to multi‑task.
- Proven success as a positive team player as well as an independent worker.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior exposure to litigation preferred.
- Appellate exposure a plus.
