Position: Associate Attorney Casualty Litigation - Miami (229/o)

Established, fast-paced firm where associates thrive because of their access to unparalleled training is looking to add an Associate Attorney to their Casualty Litigation/General Liability team. Successful candidates will have 3+ years of civil litigation experience in casualty, premises or product liability or complex litigation.

The position is full-time and onsite at the firms’ Miami, Florida office.

In this position Associates:

  • will be responsible for high exposure litigation cases from inception to trial with the supervising partner.
  • Will be conducting accident scene inspections with experts, drafting reports and analyzing liability, causation and damages.
  • will conduct your own depositions, attend hearings and argue your own motions.
  • will be responsible for interviewing witnesses, expert depositions, negotiations with opposing counsel, and conducting legal research.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Florida Bar license in good standing
  • Must have 3+ years of litigation experience in casualty, premises or product liability or complex litigation
  • Must have strong academic credentials
  • Must have the ability to handle files from inception to trial
  • Must have experience with depositions, hearings, meditations and trial.
  • Must have excellent research and writing abilities
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic.
