Main Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on corporate transactions, regulatory matters, compliance issues, or litigation strategy based on area of expertise.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and risk assessments on federal, state, and local laws relevant to business operations.
• Represent the organization in discussions with external counsel, regulatory agencies, or opposing parties.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal exposure, policy interpretation, and strategic risk management.
• Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents that impact the company or clients.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Florida or Washington, DC
  .
• 3–6 years of legal experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate law, compliance, regulatory affairs, or litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and contract negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory frameworks at both federal and state levels.
• Clear and professional communicator with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
• Law firm and/or in-house counsel experience preferred.
