Almazan Law is undergoing a firm-wide transaction and restructuring to intentionally rebuild our people, processes, and leadership for the future of law—not the past.

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Partner to serve as Director of Litigation, helping architect a next‑generation litigation department across our Miami and growing Tampa platform.

This role is part of a broader strategic reset that includes:

• AI‑driven timekeeping and billing intelligence already in use
• Data analytics tied to litigation performance and risk
• AI‑generated litigation docket and workflow management in production
• A growing Miami–Tampa litigation footprint

We are building to compete with AI‑native firms, not react to them.

• Serve as first‑chair on complex commercial and civil litigation matters
• Grow and leverage your existing book alongside firm clients
• Lead litigation strategy, risk management, and key client relationships
• Build, manage, and scale litigation teams (associates/paralegals may come with you)
• Partner with firm leadership and operations to design scalable, tech‑enabled workflows
• Mentor attorneys into high‑performing, AI‑literate litigators

• Has 10+ years of commercial/civil litigation experience
• Brings a portable, sustainable book of business
• Thinks in terms of systems, leverage, and scale
• Is entrepreneurial and comfortable leading lawyers and processes
• Has considered—or could credibly consider—starting their own

• Real leadership authority as Director of Litigation
• Lower overhead and modern infrastructure
• Existing legal technology and analytics already deployed
• Autonomy with firm‑level strategic support
• A clear runway for long‑term influence as the firm scales
