Our client is seeking a results-driven Senior Manager, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to build and lead a best-in-class S&OP process for a high-growth manufacturing company with an ambitious plan to double revenue over the next five years.

This is a builder role ideal for someone who thrives on creating structure, implementing change, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results. You will partner closely with leaders in Sales, Operations, Finance, and Planning, driving alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals.



Key Responsibilities

S&OP Leadership

• Design, implement, and manage a robust S&OP/IBP process from the ground up.

• Establish a monthly cycle of demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP meetings.

• Align 18–24 month rolling demand and supply plans with business strategy and financial targets.

Demand Planning & Forecasting


• Develop statistical and collaborative forecasts using historical data, market insights, and sales intelligence.

• Improve forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support long-term (3–5 year) planning for product and market expansion.

Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization


• Balance demand with production capacity, raw materials, and warehouse constraints.

• Optimize inventory levels to meet service goals, reduce waste, and manage working capital.

• Partner with procurement to ensure supplier readiness for demand shifts and product launches.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement


• Create dashboards tracking service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and OTIF delivery.

• Lead process improvement projects integrating Lean and data-driven methodologies.

• Support ERP/APS upgrades (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Anaplan, Kinaxis, Logility).

Change Management


• Champion S&OP adoption, communicating its value across the business.

• Coach teams and build organizational planning capabilities.

Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus).

• 5+ years of progressive experience in S&OP, demand/supply planning, or IBP in manufacturing (food/beverage/CPG preferred).

• Proven success implementing new planning processes from scratch.

• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; ERP/APS expertise required.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in high-growth environments.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
