THE ROLE

The Senior Manager of National Markets plays a pivotal role in driving MDIA’s growth, market expansion, and long term sustainability by leading sourcing and delivery of our offerings to municipal partners and shaping the next phase of our municipal partnership portfolio.

In this role, you will oversee the development, packaging, and execution of MDIA’s municipal-facing products and services in expansion markets— from initial outreach and partnership cultivation to ensure quality control throughout program design, implementation, and performance measurement. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to identify new market opportunities, validate emerging service models, and support organizational decision‑making on pricing, business development strategy, and long‑term growth.

This role will work cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including public sector and philanthropic partners, to maximize the organization’s financial position and to ensure that the right elements are in place to drive revenue from each national market in ways that align with local context and funding environments.

An ideal candidate should have experience in stakeholder management, partnership strategy, philanthropy, and program development. They are deeply relationship‑oriented with the ability to translate both stated and unstated partner needs into clear action plans. They will take a systematic approach to building and scaling partnerships, establishing a strategic cadence of check‑ins, performance metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement mechanisms. Candidates with experience either working in early or growth‑stage companies or state, local or federal government agencies are encouraged to apply.

Backgrounds in public‑sector innovation and management consulting will add significant value.
