Chief Operating Officer

Aligned Solutions is proud to partner with a highly respected, mission-driven nonprofit organization in Greater Miami to identify a Chief Operating Officer (COO). This executive-level role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the operational backbone of an organization deeply committed to community impact, collaboration, and long-term sustainability.

The COO will serve as a key strategic and operational leader, responsible for ensuring organizational excellence across internal operations and community-facing functions. Reporting to the President & CEO, this role oversees the Office of the President, organizational operations, nonprofit convening and office space operations, and board governance—ensuring alignment, accountability, and execution of strategic priorities.

This position is ideal for a systems-oriented leader who thrives in a values-driven, fast-paced environment and brings both strategic vision and operational discipline.

• Provide executive leadership across all operational functions, including administration, HR, IT, facilities, and vendor management
• Oversee daily operations of the Office of the President and serve as a trusted advisor to the President & CEO
• Lead nonprofit convening and office space operations, ensuring high-quality experiences for partners and community stakeholders
• Build scalable systems and processes that support staff performance, collaboration, and organizational culture
• Oversee board and committee operations, supporting governance best practices and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, administration, or organizational management
• Background in nonprofit, foundation, or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused leadership style
• Strong relationship builder with a collaborative, inclusive approach
• Deep appreciation for community impact, equity, and organizational values
