Assistant Community Manager –
Asset Living (Miami, FL)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Financial Management- Post all payments and income from residents accurately and timely.
- Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
- Follow up on bad debt, prepare late notices, and handle evictions.
- Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NET operating income.
- Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
- Perform end‑of‑month closing procedures and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
- Walk units and post move‑out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds.
- Maintain regular onsite attendance.
- Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop onsite staff.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and counseling to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Promote staff harmony and performance.
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies.
- Oversee leasing: obtain closures, complete documentation, and maintain reporting accuracy.
- Implement marketing strategies from the annual plan.
- Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests.
- Develop and implement resident retention programs.
- Show, lease, and facilitate move‑in of prospective residents.
- Deliver excellent customer service and monitor maintenance response times.
- Maintain property appearance and ensure timely repairs.
- Assist in supervising all business functions related to operations.
- Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred, or two years experience in housing; or one‑to‑two years related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency with onsite software and basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Must be stationary for prolonged periods; perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Move about to accomplish tasks from one work site to another.
- Occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, or work in confined spaces; lift up to 25 lb.
- Operate machinery or power tools, drive golf carts, and perform duties in varied environmental conditions.
Full‑time salary range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance; 401(k) with employer matching; performance bonuses; paid sick days and company holidays.
