Assistant Community Manager
Asset Living (Miami, FL)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Financial Management
  • Post all payments and income from residents accurately and timely.
  • Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
  • Follow up on bad debt, prepare late notices, and handle evictions.
  • Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NET operating income.
  • Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
  • Perform end‑of‑month closing procedures and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
  • Walk units and post move‑out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds.
Personnel Management
  • Maintain regular onsite attendance.
  • Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop onsite staff.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and counseling to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Promote staff harmony and performance.
  • Ensure staff adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee leasing: obtain closures, complete documentation, and maintain reporting accuracy.
  • Implement marketing strategies from the annual plan.
  • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests.
  • Develop and implement resident retention programs.
  • Show, lease, and facilitate move‑in of prospective residents.
Administrative Management
  • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor maintenance response times.
  • Maintain property appearance and ensure timely repairs.
  • Assist in supervising all business functions related to operations.
  • Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred, or two years experience in housing; or one‑to‑two years related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency with onsite software and basic computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be stationary for prolonged periods; perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Move about to accomplish tasks from one work site to another.
  • Occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, or work in confined spaces; lift up to 25 lb.
  • Operate machinery or power tools, drive golf carts, and perform duties in varied environmental conditions.
Compensation & Benefits

Full‑time salary range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance; 401(k) with employer matching; performance bonuses; paid sick days and company holidays.
