Position Summary
We are seeking a bold, strategic and hands‑on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and elevate the operational backbone of Miami Vacation Rentals. This role is responsible for both building the foundations for growth (team, systems and processes) as well as driving the performance, structure, and efficiency of our day‑to‑day operations, ensuring that our teams are empowered and aligned to deliver world‑class service and results.
The COO/Integrator is the glue that holds the company together and drives operational execution. The COO translates the CEO’s strategic goals into clear, accountable plans across all departments. You will lead day‑to‑day operations across departments including Field Operations, Guest Experience, Owner Relations, Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, and HR, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, values, and financial goals. The COO will oversee a growing team of 70 staff, working closely with departmental leads.
This role’s initial focus will be on consolidating and strengthening existing operations across our portfolio before scaling into new markets or properties.
Responsibilities
• Operational Strategy & Leadership:
Translate the CEO’s vision into clear, actionable plans and drive execution through department heads.
• Team Development & Performance:
Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing leadership team. Develop and maintain a strong operating structure and performance systems.
• Execution & Accountability:
Own the execution of quarterly and annual business plans. Monitor Rocks, P&L, KPIs, and departmental scorecards to track progress.
• Cross‑Functional Alignment:
Ensure coordination across teams including Field Operations, Guest Experience, Owner Relations, Revenue, Marketing, Finance, and HR.
• Systems & Process Optimization:
Oversee SOPs, systems, service standards, and technology across the business. Ensure operational consistency and profitability.
• EOS Leadership:
Serve as the Integrator within the EOS framework, ensuring strategic vision turns into daily execution.
• Scaling & Growth:
Prepare the business for expansion by designing scalable systems. Lead market expansion and new service rollouts.
• Compliance &
Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to regulations and internal controls. Mitigate risk while supporting business goals.
Qualifications
• 7–10 years of leadership experience in hospitality, real estate, or property/short‑term rental management. Proven experience as a COO, Integrator, VP of Ops, or GM in a high‑growth, operationally complex business.
• Track record of operational turnaround or scaling/consolidation — someone who can bring clarity, structure, and systems to a growing business.
• Strong understanding of P&L oversight, budgeting, and operational KPIs.
• Proven success managing and developing multi‑disciplinary teams (100 people).
• Proficiency in Excel and other operational reporting tools.
• Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, conflict resolution and decision‑making skills.
• Fluency in English;
Spanish is a strong plus.
• Comfortable in an in‑person role, with regular presence at properties in the Miami area.

Compensation & Benefits
• On‑target earnings (OTE): $200,000 — $225,000 annually (Salary Bonus)
