This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Miami, FL. As a Senior Marina Manager, you will oversee daily operations of the marina, ensuring optimal service delivery and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include managing staff activities, maintaining marina facilities, coordinating with vendors, and implementing operational policies. This role involves monitoring budgetary concerns, scheduling maintenance projects, addressing emergencies, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Senior Marina Manager will collaborate closely with the Parks and Recreation leadership team to support the overall vision and goals of the department.
- Experience in marina operations management, including overseeing facilities, staff, and customer services
- Strong skills in leadership, team coordination, and personnel management
- Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and operational planning
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and maintenance procedures specific to marinas
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
- Experience with customer relations and community engagement is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Recreation Management, Marine Science, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications in marina operations or boating safety are advantageous
- Ability to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment and respond to emergency situations promptly
