Summary

The Simplot T&H Supervisor role is responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising the locations employees in all facets of day-to-day operations including but not limited to: insuring company safety protocols are adhered to, delivery logistics, general accounting practices, inventory control roduct procurement and maintaining warehouse equipment and Commercial motor vehicle operation and service records.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring general safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met the overall safe operation of the business unit and assigned employees.
• Supervises CDL driver work force on logistical operations and general maintenance of the Commercial Motor Vehicle fleet and associated delivery equipment.
• Organizes and supervises day-to-day operations and determines work practices and procedures to optimize utilization of resources.
• Performs recordkeeping functions and general accounting practices related to inventory, delivery scheduling, product procurement, employee files, etc.
• Interface with sales force on product forecasting and general customer requests.

Typical Education

Associates Degree (A.A. or A.S.) Equivalent experience of education and experience will be considered for meeting the minimum requirements of the role.

Relevant Experience

• Supervisory, planning, organization, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• General warehousing knowledge/inventory management, Turf & Horticulture knowledge a plus.
• Proactive in providing customer service and support beyond typical operational needs.
• Analysis and problem-solving abilities to deal with out-of-the-ordinary assignments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel

Required Certifications

Valid Driver's License is required.
