Overview

A real estate hospitality company, well known for their luxury hotels in Europe, USA, and the Caribbean is launching an exclusive new luxury all-inclusive hospitality brand in the Caribbean and is seeking a highly accomplished Vice President of Operations / General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of its flagship Dominican Republic property. This individual will play a pivotal role not only in establishing the operational and service excellence standards of the first resort, but also in shaping the broader multi-property platform as additional assets come online across the region.

The ideal candidate is a senior hospitality executive with deep experience in high-end, luxury all-inclusive properties (300+ keys), a proven background in Caribbean operations, and the leadership capability to evolve into a Vice President of Operations or Chief Operating Officer role for the full brand portfolio.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Mandatory:
  Proven leadership experience in luxury all-inclusive resorts (300+ rooms).
• Mandatory:
  Significant Caribbean hospitality experience, preferably with new openings or multi-property oversight.
• Executive-level experience as a General Manager, VP of Operations, COO, or similar senior leadership role within high-end hospitality.
• Track record of delivering superior guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance.
• Ability and willingness to be based in the Dominican Republic during the initial opening phase.
• Strategic, hands‑on leader capable of managing complex operations while building out a new luxury brand.

Responsibilities:

Property Opening & Launch Leadership

• Oversee all pre‑opening activities, including operational planning, service design, staffing, training, budgeting, and brand standards implementation.
• Work closely with ownership, development teams, and brand leaders to ensure an exceptional and timely opening.
• Establish best‑in‑class luxury all‑inclusive operational systems and guest experience strategies.

Operational Excellence & Strategic Management

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Dominican Republic property, ensuring exceptional service, financial performance, and brand consistency.
• Implement performance metrics, quality assurance programs, and guest satisfaction initiatives aligned with luxury service expectations.
• Drive operational efficiency, revenue optimization, and profitability across all departments.

Regional & Multi‑Property Leadership

• After the initial opening, assume expanded oversight of additional Caribbean properties as they come online.
• Contribute to the development of brand standards, operational frameworks, and long‑term strategic planning for the portfolio.
• Mentor and develop property leadership teams to ensure operational consistency and excellence across the region.
