Reporting organisationally to the Senior Manager, Transport Integration, the Transport Special Events Manager will be a key member of the FIFA
26 Event Transportation team, and work in close collaboration with the Special Events Team, Transport Client Services Team, Guest Operations Team, Operational Services Team, and other key individuals responsible for delivering Transportation operations.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Transport Special Events Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26 include:

s and transport systems to ensure plans align with overall event transport strategies. - Support the delivery of transport operations for all test events before the FIFA World Cup 26.
- Support the planning for all test events before the FIFA World Cup 26, which includes: IFES data entry and management for special event staff travels, supporting the special event project management in or WeTrack.
- Conduct site visits across venues, sites, and facilities to observe, document, and assess transport-related features and operations.
- Assist with obtaining necessary road closure permits for special events if needed.
- Assist with development of special event transport plans, alignment with event venue operations staff.
- Maintain a well-organized library of key documentation for easy access and future reference, ensuring legacy planning is supported.

Education & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, management, leadership, entrepreneurship)
- Postgraduate Education focusing on International Organizations or Sport Management preferred, but not required
- Willingness to work outside core working hours (online workshops accommodating different time zones)
- Willingness to travel
- Minimum of 3 years of event transport-related work experience, ideally within football, sports, or major events.
- Transport operations experience at least one international mega event, preferably multiple world-class sporting events (e.g., FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games, regional football tournaments, etc.).
