We’re looking for an experienced Senior Machinist / CNC Programmer to join our team. This advanced role focuses on CNC programming, precision machining, tooling optimization, and supporting high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Our client is a respected fabricator that has been in business for over 100 years and has a great foothold in their market. They just added a brand new location and are looking to hire an experienced Machinist/Programmer for their Miami (Hialeah), Florida facility.

Great opportunity for a talented machinist to quickly grow into a supervisor over their home-grown machine shop team, highly competitive compensation + overtime (5-10 hr/week), and expanding company – they just opened a new mill.

Qualifications
  • Experienced—can look at a drawing and produce the part.
  • Bilingual—English or Spanish.
  • Proficient in CAM / CAD Software.
  • Experience with CNC—Dusson/Okuma preferred, but not required.
  • Bridge Mill (40ft x 24 ft) experience preferred.
  • Able to work Monday–Friday with a flexible schedule.
  • Desire to grow into a leadership/supervision role with people/teaching skills.
What You’ll Do
  • Program CNC mills and lathes and develop optimized machining strategies.
  • Machine precision components from CAD drawings using GD&T.
  • Create custom fixtures, jigs, and work‑holding solutions.
  • Use CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam, Solid Works, CAMWorks) for program creation.
  • Perform in‑process inspections and consistently hold ±0.001" tolerances.
  • Support secondary operations, shop maintenance, and 5S organization.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years CNC machining and setup experience (or trade school + 4 years experience).
  • Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5, GD&T, and G/M code.
  • Proficiency with precision inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
  • Experience in machining metals and plastics.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
