Kelly Services is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Technician for one of our top clients located in Miami, FL.

The Engineering Technician is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, set‑ups and operating automatic or semi‑automatic machines as needed and related equipment in a continuous production / processing operation. The role is multidimensional, functioning as a Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician. This position is part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations and will be in Miami, FL.
You will be part of the Engineering Team and report to the Plant Engineering Supervisor. You will work closely with Engineers and production associates supporting line equipment and processes, continuously working on ways to improve and reduce waste within production processes by improving equipment uptime and completing PMs.
Key Responsibilities- Follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
- Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair and dismantle machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures, layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
- Perform set‑up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production / process specifications.
- Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts / components and/or electrical / electronic systems to make sub‑assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
- Complete PMs within our AMMS system for multiple sets of equipment to maintain compliance of production processes.
- Work in blood exposure / biohazard areas and must follow all PPE / OSHA guidelines.
- 5+ years of work‑related experience or an AA Degree (Technical / Engineering) with 1+ year experience.
- Technical knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
