As a Machinist, you will perform setup and manual operations on various machining equipment to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities:- Machine products to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and layouts
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Calculate dimensions and lay out work pieces
- Set up and adjust machine tools
- Support cross-training of team members
- Work independently and collaboratively to ensure quality
- Follow all safety practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with manual machine tools operations
- Ability to operate lathes or mills and use measuring instruments
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Proficiency with measuring tools and hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL)
- Strong mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and precision
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
