Plating Technician

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Plating Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in sunny Miami. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, treating, and finishing metal surfaces using various electroplating and chemical coating processes to ensure high-quality, corrosion-resistant results. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of chemical safety, can precisely follow technical blueprints, and thrives in an environment that demands both technical accuracy and physical stamina.

Salary: $41,000 - $60,000 per year

Shift: First

Work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Education: High School

• Performs chemical analysis of plating line processing tanks, manages chemical additions, maintains equipment calibration, and ensures compliance with safety protocols.

• High school diploma, often requiring an Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related technical field, and 3+ years of laboratory experience.

  Experience handling chemicals, basic computer skills (Microsoft Tools)

The essential functions of this role include: working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
