Assistant Grower - Mushroom Farm

Job Description We are looking for a reliable and motivated

Assistant Growerto join our mushroom production team. The Assistant Grower will work directly under the Mycology Operations Manager and receive hands-on training in commercial mushroom cultivation. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in agriculture, mycology, or food production who wants to learn and grow within the operation.

Assist with mushroom substrate and fruiting block production Grain spawn production and laboratory inoculations Monitor incubation and grow rooms Maintain proper growing conditions and environmental controls Harvest and pack mushrooms for distribution Maintain production logs and batch tracking Clean and sanitize production areas and equipment Identify and report contamination, pests, or growing issues Follow established cultivation procedures and SOPs Assist with general mushroom farm operations as needed

Reliable and punctual Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn Good work ethic and ability to follow procedures Comfortable with hands-on, physically active work Able to work independently and as part of a team Previous mushroom cultivation experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. This position offers the opportunity to learn the full commercial mushroom cultivation process and take on greater responsibility as experience develops
