About the RoleThe Spark Committee is a new, year-round volunteer leadership group at Girls Inc. of Greater Miami that brings men into the movement for girls in powerful, visible ways. This isn’t just about showing up at an event—it’s about stepping into an ongoing role where your influence, network, and presence help ignite real change.
Why You?For too long, efforts to champion women and girls have been carried almost entirely by women. We believe that progress accelerates when men step in as allies, mentors, and leaders.
We are seeking men with powerful networks who are ready to:

- Help secure sponsor ships and resources,
- Serve as ambassadors in the community, and
- Inspire other men to join this mission.
If you’re a leader who understands the impact of showing up with your voice, your resources, and your connections—this committee is for you.
What You’ll DoAs a Spark Committee member, you will:
- Support Events – Attend the Fuel Her Fire Annual Event and other key Girls Inc. initiatives throughout the year.
- Acquire Sponsor ships – Use your influence to secure corporate partnerships, auction items, or underwriting opportunities.
- Activate Your Network – Introduce Girls Inc. to new donors, partners, and decision-makers.
- Champion the Cause – Share Girls Inc.’s mission in your circles and encourage other men to join.
- Engage Year-Round – Participate in select mentoring opportunities, career panels, or community activations to directly impact girls’ lives.
- Recognition as a founding member of The Spark Committee.
- Exclusive networking with other influential leaders across industries.
- A visible platform to demonstrate leadership and allyship.
- The opportunity to be part of a movement where your presence makes a tangible difference.
- A year-end report celebrating the tangible difference your leadership and network have made.
