Volunteer: Copywriting: Social Media Content

Overview

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We’re seeking a volunteer to write 2-10 social media posts for Ava’s Path, using Instagram and Linked In. Posts may cover the following topics: introduction to our organization’s work, testimonials, examples of our community impact, donation requests or similar calls to action, newsletter sign up, and educational information about our mission.

This project will support Ava’s Path’s mission by helping us share our message more effectively with families, donors, and community partners. With compelling social media content, we can raise awareness about the challenges divorcing parents of children with disabilities face, highlight resources, and grow our community of support. Strong storytelling online will expand our reach, inspire action, and help more families discover tools to create stability and brighter futures for their children.

• Write 2-10 social media posts for Instagram and Linked In covering topics such as introduction to the organization’s work, testimonials, community impact, donation requests, newsletter sign up, and educational information about the mission.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team member who will provide examples of previous posts, the specific number of posts and topics, and key points for each post.

Posting compelling content will help Ava’s Path share its message more effectively with families, donors, and community partners, raise awareness about challenges faced by divorcing parents of children with disabilities, highlight available resources, and grow the community of support.

Ava’s Path empowers parents of children with diverse abilities facing divorce. This mission-driven organization equips families with comprehensive support, including co-parenting courses, community-building opportunities, educational content, and practical AI-driven tools, all designed to create equitable co-parenting plans and foster happy, healthy family relationships.

We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with examples of our previous social media posts, the specific number of posts and topics, and key points for each. You will receive information on our key audiences and organizational key messages.
