About the Role
Research Nurse I (Bilingual English/Spanish) – Miami, FL. Join our research clinic as a front‑line medical professional who ensures the safety, comfort, and confidence of healthy study participants.
LocationSouth Miami (SOMI):
5966 South Dixie Hwy, South Miami, FL 33179 (Candidates must be flexible and available to work at either location based on clinic needs).
- Provide medical support and monitor health of study participants.
- Respond calmly and promptly to adverse events, keeping participants safe and informed.
- Perform key clinical procedures: IV insertions, venipuncture, medication administration (IV, IM, SubQ, Oral), vital signs, ECGs, telemetry monitoring, and physiological data collection.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Guide participants through the informed consent process with clarity and compassion.
- Maintain readiness of emergency supplies and medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure participant safety and study success.
- Contribute to a positive, solutions‑focused work environment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Associate (ASN) or Bachelor (BSN) in Nursing.
- 1–2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with clinical software a plus.
- Experience in a research or regulatory environment is an asset.
- 8–12 hour shifts (day or night, depending on clinic needs).
- 2 weekends per month.
