Facing a growing demand for surgical services, we are looking for a dedicated RN to join our Operating Room team.
DescriptionThe Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse – Pool DPC RN is a licensed professional capable of demonstrating the core competencies of assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN works patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner and promotes evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety and service.
This is a per‑diem position: pay $45.00 per hour based on shift.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Registered Nurse license
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; RNs hired prior to specified dates qualify without a BSN, post‑dates must complete BSN within 5 years.
- Must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership.
- Required to work a minimum shift, including weekend and holiday requirements as outlined in nursing staffing policy.
- Possibly required to hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS‑Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
- 18 months of nursing experience.
Minimum required experience: 18 months.
