Benefits: Up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

Shift: Full-Time, days, evenings, 40 hrs. M-F

Work Location: University Miami Hospital & Clinics UHMC SCCC - Main / Miami CTU

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, shaves, and showers.
  • Support with meals, feeding, ambulation, positioning, and providing water and nourishment between meals.
  • Administer enemas, dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, baths, and apply restraints as needed.
  • Perform urine testing, specimen collection, and post-mortem care.
  • Respond promptly to patients’ call lights and requests.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and transport patients and equipment.
  • Report patient conditions to the nurse for assessment.
  • Record food and liquid intake/output and vital signs.
  • Assist with walking, exercises, and moving in and out of bed.
  • Perform minor physical therapy routines.
  • Collect urine samples, attach EKG leads, and remove catheters.
  • Manage intravenous nutrition feeding.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safeguard assets.

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Certified Nursing Assistant license
    • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
    • Skills in accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and working independently or collaboratively
    • Availability to work evenings, nights, and weekends
