The Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (Pool DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates proficiency in core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service. The RN will deliver patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner while promoting evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety and service.

Estimated pay is $45.00 / hour depending on shift.

• Associates in Nursing
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Registered Nurse license

• Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen’s) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non‑leadership role as an RN.
• RNs hired after the above dates with an Associate’s degree must complete the BSN within five years.
• RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
• Required to work minimum shift including weekend and holiday requirements as outlined in nursing staffing policy.
• Any of the following may be required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS‑Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
• 18 months of experience required.

Minimum required experience: 18 months.
