As a Trauma OR, you will provide critical intraoperative care to patients experiencing complex, life-threatening injuries. You’ll work alongside top trauma surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to deliver rapid, precise, and compassionate care.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of trauma patients during surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile protocols, safety standards, and surgical best practices.

• Deliver direct and specialized nursing care to trauma patients during surgical interventions
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure seamless coordination during procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and instruments
• Document patient care activities accurately and in real time
• Maintain knowledge of surgical techniques, emergency protocols, and instrumentation
• Support post-operative handoffs and transitions to appropriate recovery units
• Remain calm and effective under pressure in high-stress, time-sensitive situations

• Current Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure (per Florida Board of Nursing requirements)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program Required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire) Required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Trauma OR or Operating Room Required
• Strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and teamwork skills

• Full-Time Nights
• Rotating Weekends flexibility required for trauma coverage needs

• Hourly Rate: $39.57 $ 53.34 (Based on 17+ years of experience)
