Performs nonprofessional nursing tasks in the care and comfort of primarily adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic illness. Performs specific treatments and procedures under the direction of the RN. Maintains clean and orderly patient care areas, equipment, and supplies, restocking inventories as needed. May be required to work beyond regular duty hours or in another patient care unit as assigned.

• Perform duties and conduct interpersonal relationships to project a positive image of the department and hospital.
• Work with supervisor/manager and other members to promote a harmonious work environment.
• Ensure all contacts with patients, public, physicians, and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful, considerate manner.
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously; display concern and provide assistance or explain procedures as appropriate.
• Dedicate to meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; identify problem areas and recommend solutions.

• Current Florida CNA License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Effective oral communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
