Job Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, histories, and physical exams of surgical patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Post-operative care in the office, rounding in the hospital.
  • Provide post-operative education, wound care instructions, and symptom management for surgical patients and family members.
  • Manage common post-surgical complications under physician supervision and within scope of practice.
  • Rotation of after hours calls
Procedural Support & Surgical Coordination
  • Assist in preoperative preparation and postoperative rounds, including daily progress note documentation.
  • Provide wound care to patients in post operative period.
Licensing/Education and Training
  • Graduate degree from accredited NP program.
  • 3-5 years of
  • Fully licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida
  • Obtained a Bachelor's, or associate degree or have a Diploma of Nursing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bi-lingual

Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
