Description
Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (Pool DPC RN). Licensed professional with mastery of core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. Patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service. Estimated pay range: $45.00/hour, depending on shift.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 18 months nursing experience.
- Required certifications:
Registered Nurse license, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate. - RNs hired before specified dates not required to have BSN; RNs hired after dates must obtain BSN within 3 years.
- Complete a preceptor class within 12 months of being deemed competent.
- Work minimum shift, including weekend and holiday requirements as outlined in nursing staffing policy.
- May be required to hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card as per department standards.
