The ideal candidate will possess a recognized arborist certification, hands‑on experience in professional tree care, and specialized qualifications in tree trimming and vegetation management around overhead electrical power lines. This individual will be responsible for assessing tree health, identifying potential hazards, developing appropriate tree care recommendations, and ensuring work is performed safely and in accordance with applicable industry standards.

We are looking for a safety‑conscious professional who combines technical knowledge with practical field experience and takes pride in maintaining the health, safety, and appearance of commercial landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tree inspections and assess tree health, structural integrity, and potential safety hazards.
  • Develop and implement tree pruning, maintenance, preservation, and removal recommendations.
  • Perform or supervise tree trimming and other arboricultural activities as appropriate to qualifications.
  • Identify tree diseases, pest issues, structural defects, and other conditions requiring corrective action.
  • Evaluate trees near buildings, roadways, sidewalks, parking areas, and utility infrastructure.
  • Perform or oversee vegetation management and line-clearance tree work when properly qualified and authorized.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, industry standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with field supervisors, project managers, utility representatives, and other team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, work performed, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Help ensure projects are completed efficiently while protecting people, property, and surrounding landscapes.
Required Qualifications
  • Current ISA Certified Arborist credential or an equivalent recognized arborist certification acceptable to the company.
  • Demonstrated experience in arboriculture, tree maintenance, pruning, and tree risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of proper pruning practices, tree biology, disease identification, and tree preservation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of job‑site safety and professional tree care standards.
  • Ability to evaluate tree conditions and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout South Florida.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Additional Required Qualification for Line-Clearance Work

Candidates expected to perform electrical line-clearance work must have the applicable Line Clearance Arborist / Line Clearance Tree Trimmer qualifications, training, and experience required for the assigned duties.

  • Experience working around overhead electrical utility lines.
  • Knowledge of electrical hazards, minimum approach distances, and utility vegetation‑management safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with applicable OSHA requirements and utility‑specific safety standards.
  • Ability to follow established safety protocols and coordinate with utility providers when required.

Candidates without the required line-clearance qualifications may be considered only if their role will be limited to general arboriculture and non-line-clearance tree care.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting commercial properties, luxury communities, condominium associations, and large landscape management portfolios.
  • Experience leading field crews or coordinating tree care projects.
  • Knowledge of Florida tree species, regional growing conditions, and common pests and diseases.
  • Additional relevant credentials, licenses, or safety training.
What We Offer
  • The opportunity to join an established Florida landscaping company with a long-standing reputation for quality and service.
  • A professional environment supporting commercial landscape management and specialized tree care projects.
  • Opportunities to contribute technical expertise and help maintain high standards across a diverse portfolio of properties.
