Thrive Miami is looking for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Miami, FL.

Sign-On-Bonus of up to $75K and Retention Bonus of up to $25K over 3 years

Our progressive compensation model is designed to reward your impact, offering a competitive base salary alongside production opportunities—with no negative accrual.

You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

Our practice has grown to provide a diverse network of veterinary specialty services, including anesthesia, acupuncture, emergency, critical care, internal medicine, pain management, oncology, and surgery. The medical staff at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists, Miami, has over 20 years of expertise in a wide array of specialty and emergency medical services for dogs, cats, and exotic animals. For your convenience, we are fully staffed, speaking both English and Spanish.

We offer 24-hour hospitalization and are proud to provide exceptional veterinary care.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $180K/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License:
  • Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
  • Obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
