Summary

The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance supervisor (QA) is to support the organization in achieving its goal of meeting or exceeding customer expectations and promoting continuous improvement. The supervisor plans and supervises the layout, inspection process, work procedures, and methods of correction to reduce errors and maximize production. The QA Supervisor must understand government and commercial product specifications. The QA Supervisor oversees daily KPIs in Exenta and Eton systems.

• QA Supervisor will know all product lines' specifications
• Work in the assurance of quality standards by the Government and commercial customers
• Knowledge of Exenta and Eton Systems to analyze trends in errors and rework
• Design methods to reduce errors
• Design methods to reduce time spent on rework.
• Design methods and procedures to increase efficiency
• Evaluate and follow-up quality reports
• Develop appropriate training for quality assurance inspectors/auditors
• Reports quality KPI’s in production meetings
• Work with the production supervisor and operator to motivate, persuade, and re-train operators who do not meet quality standards.
• Assist other department areas in the development of new projects
• Ensure that quality standards are consistently enforced
• Supervise and evaluate quality assurance staff
• Evaluate quality inspectors/auditors as required
• Practice Continuous Improvement principles and 5s concepts
• Supports the vision, values, culture, and commitment to excellent customer service for all customers and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned based on department needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position supervises the Quality Assurance Inspectors/auditors and assists with supervising inspection processes, work procedures, training, and improving the quality in the production lines. Hires/evaluates personnel.
