Full-time Post Doctoral Scholar at UHealth campus. The Scholar initiates independent research, leads experiments, and publishes findings. Facilitates training of students, residents, fellows, and other trainees.

• Assists in planning and designing research experiments, establishes priorities, and recommends schedules.
• Presents research findings at local and national scientific conferences.
• Writes technical publications and reports.
• Designs and writes programs to perform analysis and produces written reports on results.
• Collects pilot data to help support new and competing renewal applications.
• Supervises undergraduate and graduate research students and performs literature reviews.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

• MD or Ph.D. in relevant field.
• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
