Overview
The Department of Informatics and Health Data Science invites applications for a full‑time Research Associate 1 to work onsite on the UHealth campus. The role focuses on providing high‑quality research support—including literature reviews, reference management, project organization, and manuscript preparation—that enables Dr. Chung to publish first‑author papers and secure grant funding.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and manage reference databases.
- Assist with manuscript preparation, ensuring timely progress on research deliverables.
- Perform data analysis, including statistical calculations to support research findings.
- Organize and coordinate multiple health data science projects, maintaining clear documentation.
- Collaborate with the research team to uphold good research practice and maintain laboratory equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Prior research or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong familiarity with academic publishing and reference management tools.
- Accuracy, organization, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
