• Event Setup: Setting up tables, chairs, linens, and decorations according to specific event requirements.
• Food and Beverage Service: Serving plated meals, buffet items, coffee, and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
• Table Maintenance: Promptly clearing and bussing tables, cleaning, and maintaining the cleanliness of service areas and stations.
• Guest Interaction: Greeting guests, answering menu inquiries, responding to special requests, and addressing any concerns or complaints.

  Working with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service flow.
• Food Safety: Adhering to food safety standards, maintaining sanitation, and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Replenishment: Monitoring and replenishing buffet items and ensuring tableware is clean and presentable.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective guest interaction.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry heavy trays or equipment.
• Flexibility: Ability to work on-call, often on short notice, for events that can be scheduled on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.

• On-Call Scheduling: You will likely be contacted with little notice when an event requires a server, requiring you to be available to work when called.
• Variety of Events: You may work at different venues, including weddings, corporate meetings, and other social gatherings.
• Fast-Paced Environment: The nature of events means you'll often be working in dynamic, busy settings.
