AboutThe Role
We’re looking for a Prep Cook to join our growing kitchen team. This is a full‑time role based out of our temporary production kitchen in Miami Gardens, transitioning to our Midtown Miami location in December 2025.
The ideal candidate loves working in a fast‑paced kitchen, follows recipes precisely, and takes pride in consistency and cleanliness. You’ll be a key part of the team that prepares our soft serve bases, sauces, baked goods, and toppings each day.
What You’ll Do- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and toppings following standardized recipes
- Batch and portion products for daily production and catering needs
- Maintain organization, labeling, and freshness standards across all storage areas
- Uphold sanitation, safety and cleanliness standards in all prep areas
Support smooth kitchen operations under the direction of the General Manager, who is also an amazing pasty chef
- 1+ year of experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Positive attitude and team mindset — no task is too small
- Dependable, organized, and punctual
- Food safety awareness (if needed we’ll provide training and certifications)
Banana Daddy is a new dessert concept re‑imagining soft‑serve and baked goods through a modern, feel‑good lens — with the majority dairy‑free and gluten‑free. We’re opening our first flagship store in Midtown Miami this December, with a kitchen built for creativity, collaboration, and quality. Our products are made scratch and our team takes pride in crafting food that makes people smile.
