Sushi Line Cook falls

As a Sushi Line Cook at Sokai Sushi Bar, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving delicious, high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our exceptional standards of quality and taste.

• Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Sokai Sushi Bar's menu and ingredients

• Participate in menu development and testing, providing feedback and suggestions

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing exceptional customer service and support to colleagues

• Cook and assemble sushi dishes to order, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality presentation

• Prepare ingredients for dishes, including cutting, chopping, and slicing

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service operations

• Participate in menu development and testing, providing feedback and suggestions

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ year of experience in a sushi kitchen or similar environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Basic understanding of food safety and handling procedures
