Sushi Cook

LPM Miami is seeking a skilled and reliable Sushi Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has experience preparing sushi and other Japanese dishes, strong knife skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality food in an upscale restaurant environment.

• Prepare sushi, rolls, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.

• Prepare ingredients, including fish, seafood, vegetables, and sushi rice.

• Maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients through proper storage and handling.

• Keep the sushi station clean, organized, and fully stocked.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent food preparation.

• Previous experience as a Sushi Cook or in a similar culinary role.

• Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine.

• Strong knife skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of proper seafood handling and food safety practices.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• $22–$24 per hour, based on experience.
