Merchandiser – PT (Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt)

Location: Miami, FL 33138 (servicing surrounding areas) – reported to Supervisor of Merchandising.

Compensation:

• Competitive wage $15 per hour; travel time between accounts paid.
• Referral retention bonus after 6 months.

Schedule:

• Assigned stores serviced on designated weekdays per established schedule.

Travel: Expected up to 100% of time to cover territory.

Requirements:

• General merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Multitask, detail‑oriented.
• Professional conduct.
• Adherence to company attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation.
• Use of Movista and/or other company‑required applications.
• Personal cell phone and mobile device (tablet).
• Proficient with Word, internet, and email.

Employment contingent on background check, drug test, and MVR clearance.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Effectively merchandise products in retail environment, replenish product safely and efficiently, assemble shelves/racks/display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled; seek approval for work outside schedule.
• Request prior approval for overtime >10 hours in a day.
• Accurately record work hours and company information using designated applications.
• Consult supervisor before performing duties not listed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Goals & Objectives:

• Work stores as scheduled.
• Handle all products correctly, including returns.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, etc.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor.
• Develop relationships with store personnel.

• Environmental: (N) Exposed to excessive noise, machinery, marked temperature/humidity change.
• Exposure: (N) Dust, fumes, gases, radiation, microwave; (N) Drives motorized equipment; (N) Works in confined quarters.
• Load: (F) Light up to 25 lbs; (F) Moderate 25‑50 lbs; (O) Heavy over 50 lbs.
