Responsibilities
  • Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
  • Act as manager on duty when scheduled, addressing customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
  • Partner with the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
  • Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and dissemination of company directives.
  • Set daily/shift goals for associates upon arrival.
  • Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Lead exceptional in‑store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
  • Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
  • Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
  • Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
  • Perform required physical tasks: standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders, kneeling, bending.
  • Consistently provide a safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.
  • Maintain the company’s values, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience, preferably in retail.
  • Thrives in a customer‑first retail environment and fosters a customer‑focused selling culture.
  • Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
  • Ability to provide in‑the‑moment coaching to associates.
  • Ability to de‑escalate store and customer situations effectively.
  • Must be available to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education
  • High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
