Garden Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to the following- Knowledge of plants, with the ability to Purchase flowers, trees, shrubs and indoor plant material for the retail garden center
- Maintain the health, quality, and appearance of indoor and outdoor plants.
- Water, prune, fertilize, and monitor plants for pests, diseases, and other issues.
- Receive, organize, price, and display incoming plant material and horticultural products.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing sales areas.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding soil, fertilizers, irrigation, and other gardening supplies.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and seasonal merchandising.
- Support daily retail operations and contribute to positive customer experience.
- Capable of running POS terminal both on-line and off-line, and upload offline POS transactions
- Provide legendary customer service storewide
- Knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, and general plant care preferred.
- Previous experience in a nursery, garden center, greenhouse, landscaping, or retail environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions & stand for an extended period of time
- Bending, climbing, and twisting are routine; the position requires the ability to retrieve, stock, and move product
- Willingness to learn and expand horticultural knowledge.
- Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds

These benefits are available after 90 days of employment.
We are looking for full flexibility; must be available to work on Saturday OR Sunday, 35-40 hours per week.
