Your RoleThe Territory Sales Manager will drive the growth of Dope Automation USA Inc.’s full equipment portfolio throughout assigned U.S. regions. This role requires a self-starter who can independently manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and discovery to solution development, quoting, negotiation, and closing—while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will represent a top-tier lineup of cannabis automation systems including pre-roll automation, robotics, packaging solutions, counting systems, and end-of-line equipment.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Management- Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound inquiries.
- Actively prospect new business through research, outreach, referrals, trade shows, and industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, project scoping, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct virtual demos, onsite presentations, and live equipment demonstrations.
- Re-engage past accounts to identify new opportunities and emerging needs.
- Stay current with competitor offerings and market trends.
- Travel required.
- Develop a deep understanding of Dope Automation USA Inc.’s equipment lines and system capabilities.
- Analyze customer production requirements and recommend complete, efficient automation solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance, equipment selection guidance, and basic facility layout recommendations.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical, commercial, and application knowledge.
- Partner with Engineering, Project Management, and After-Sales Support to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Utilize CRM (Hub Spot) to track leads, opportunities, communications, and sales activities.
- Prepare and submit accurate, professional quotes, proposals, and agreements.
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to internal teams.
- Submit monthly sales forecasts, territory updates, and quarterly performance reports.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM pipeline.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and profitability targets.
Manage travel and expenses responsibly within company guidelines. - Represent Dope Automation USA Inc. at trade shows, conferences, and onsite customer visits.
- 3 years in capital equipment, industrial automation, cannabis equipment, or related technical sales (preferred).
- Engineering/technical background OR strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, solution selling, and closing high-value deals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-focused thinking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms (Hub Spot experience is an asset).
- Ability and willingness to travel across the U.S. for client visits, demos, and trade shows.
- Must have valid driver’s license and passport.
