Role Overview
As Agency Account Manager you are responsible for managing a selection of agencies and clients in North America. You will retain our clients by delivering an excellent level of account management, increasing revenue and gross profit, and growing their accounts by connecting them to all relevant and market‑leading affiliates. Commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and drive business development opportunities are key skills for this role.
MainResponsibilities
- Act as agency‑level contact on accounts – perform quarterly business reviews and develop strong relationships.
- Create a forecast and development plan for each allocated account on a yearly and quarterly basis.
- Closely monitor all programs across allocated accounts daily and take proactive action if accounts are under‑delivering.
- Implement and optimise new publishers recruited by the partnership development team across key allocated accounts.
- Build a strong relationship with key contacts on allocated programmes by maintaining regular telephone and face‑to‑face contact.
- Manage promotions and daily activity on allocated accounts.
- Provide regular feedback on client satisfaction.
- Understand and plan according to the business objectives of each client in the portfolio.
- Adapt our products to client tracking capabilities and opportunities.
- Report on client KPIs and make recommendations for growth.
- Ensure that all client details, actions and administration are updated in our CRM system.
- Manage account receivables and follow up when payments are late.
- Bachelor’s Degree in digital marketing or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of affiliate marketing experience – strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate statistics into insight and action.
- Extensive successful account‑management experience and experience coordinating and managing a portfolio of clients.
- Excellent relationship‑building and team collaboration skills with publishers and clients.
- Demonstrable influencing skills and commercial awareness.
- Strong grasp of Microsoft applications:
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and CRM.
- Confidence, communication skills with proven oral and written presentation skills.
- Positive outlook, proven ability to handle pressure.
- Great teamwork with strong organisational and multi‑tasking skills.
